As a curious young boy, Rajesh (Dr. A. Rajesh Kumar) watched his grandfather advise a ‘vaidyan’ to boil Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) in milk. When he asked why, his grandfather smiled and said, "Ashwagandha holds both fat-soluble and water-soluble constituents. Milk unlocks them all."
That moment sparked a lifelong fascination. Rajesh pursued organic chemistry, uncovering the science behind phytoconstituents and Ayurveda’s wisdom. The first herb that captivated him was Ashwagandha—nature’s powerhouse, just as his grandfather had said.
Years later, in honour of that revelation, Vithania was born—a name rooted in tradition, validated by science.
